Good day my readers. All five of you. Yes I have missed you and the opportunity to connect through blogging, and for that I apologize. Me and Chris are taking a small vacation this weekend to help us relax and de-stress. At least it is for Chris is will be relaxing, but the crappy thing is that I have a hard time relaxing because I know it will end. I just have a really hard time because I am always waiting for the bad things that are bound to come about. For example, I read a bunch of hotel reviews for our hotel and there are some bad ones. So I am freaking out and wondering if we should change hotels. I don't know what to do! Poor Chris has to deal with a wife that freaks out about everything. I don't know how to bring my stress level down. I have tried to breathe deep and even when I work out I can't seem to focus. Well, whatever it is that is wrong with me, I think that I have come to terms with it. The rest of the world on the other hand, might just have an emotional package to deal with. Good luck to all of us.
I also did want to point out that the only time that is truly relaxing to me is reading. But its not like I can whip out a book all day and take a few moments to pretend I am somewhere that has a happy ending. I tried that at work, yeah, not the best thing to do.
Oh and don't forget to check out Kelly and Kevin's new blog at http://www.kevinloveskelly.blogspot.com/!!

Whooshing Wind!
So today would be a perfect day to relax outside and get a tan, but the wind is whooshing past my window right now, inviting me to come out and get a mouthful of sand. I fail to see the justice in finally getting warm weather to go swimming in, but being unable to because the pool water is too murky from all the crap blown into it. I was really looking forward to relaxing and getting an even bigger sunburn than my co-worker, but oh well. I just hope that this weekend will be clear so I can visit the pools and get my summer tan on. Everything is going well for us down here in the old desert, besides the wind of course. Chris is doing well in school and I am looking forward to getting some classes done this summer. My hair has grown out quite a bit since is was spiky, but now it looks like crap. Kinda stringy and really uneven, it looks like someone took a hacksaw to it. I am looking online today to see if I can find a good hairstyle to have so it can grow out at an even pace. I am hoping to have it shoulder length again by the end of this year, but it needs to be managed better than it is now. I don't want anybody whining at me about how I said I wanted it long. I do want it long, but I don't want it layered like this as it is growing long. For those of you who don't know what my hair looks like right now, I will think about posting a picture. If you are lucky. I was hoping to find a hairstylist that I don't hate, but unfortunately my favorite isn't working right now. I would like to find somebody I know, rather than just going to someone new. I hate doing that cause no matter how hard they try, they don't really know what I want, and they always think they do. So they talk over you and then you can't tell them what you really want. Wow, back on subject. I hope everyone is having an enjoyable spring with no wind! Have an awesome Monday!

Rundown Attitude
Wow. This whole week has been a little crazy and has me feeling rundown and exhausted. I hate that feeling. I try and put on a happy face for most things, and on the whole I like to think that I succeed. But being sick with an ear infection and trying to understand the wacky thinking of my bosses, puts me a little on edge. For one thing, I can only hear out of one ear, so everything is a little lopsided, including my balance. After running into three walls Thursday night and almost missing the bathroom Friday morning, I decided that maybe work could be put on hold while I visited my doctor and rested. When calling in sick to work, I usually get the guilt feeling before I even call. However, during the call, I usually sound fake because I am trying so hard not to sound fake at all. So I can pretty much count on the fact that most employers do not believe me when I call in sick. This of course makes employees, including me, question why they even work for the people they work for. Well, I work for my employers for basically one purpose only. To make money. I don't work at a place that will further my career, or help me to understand my school subjects and focus my goals. Which is kinda sad, but most people don't end up working for a place that they really want to. I think it is essential almost to despise at least a little the place you work. I mean, if we totally loved it, then what would we complain about? Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy some things at work, like my office roommate and the fact that I don't have to answer the phones anymore, but the work environment and sometimes my bosses really grate my nerves sometimes. And it isn't even work that they annoy me with. It is their crazy behavior about things that drives me crazy!! I mean some of the stupid things they make us do, as well as stupid lectures we receive makes me wonder how I can work for people I find stupid. I guess I am a hard person to impress and earn respect from, but that is only because I have had great people in my life to respect. I find myself comparing my current bosses and teachers to the great ones I have had in the past. And unfortunately for my present employers, they fall precariously short. I guess I need to focus more on coping and enduring, than pointing out the shortcomings of the people who are above me. Please bare with me while I shift my focus from work to school. I have finally found the degree that I can live with. I will be finishing up my associate degree finally this year or early next year. One of the reasons I was in such a rut, was I could honestly not focus on what I wanted from school. I knew I didn't want to be an editor. Even though I love reading and fixing mistakes, I cannot take something I love so much, and risk me becoming dissatisfied with it as a career. I am not willing to take that chance. So I take my second career choice, English Teacher, and pursue education classes. With an English and Reading emphasis. I think that I can be happy with what I will accomplish and I can also focus on helping students love reading as much as I do. I hope everyone is enjoying general conference, and I wish everyone a happy weekend!!!
