Happy Birthday Chris!! He is now 29 and counting down the days til he’s thirty. Not really. When I asked him about turning the big 3 0 next year, he shrugged. So apparently no big deal for men. It makes things extremely difficult to tease him about if he doesn’t have a problem with something in the first place! Well, we went out to Red Lobster, which was awesome, and rented a movie, because I can’t sit through one in the theater. I got him the Dark Knight and some comic book stuff. I think he is going to see a movie today while I am at work and it’s his day off. I don’t mind though, cause I feel bad that I can’t sit through a movie without getting up and going to the bathroom every 45 minutes. But here is the picture of the cake that I made for him. He wanted a layer cake, and I thought I had the pans for it, but I couldn’t find it. So I made a bunt cake and then just frosted it. I think it turned out great and it tasted really yummy. And just for the record, Chris is the best husband anybody could ask for=) Love ya!
Besides the birthday, we had a pretty boring weekend. We missed the family potluck again, and I was kinda upset about it. Just sometimes, I can’t control how the pregnancy is going to affect me and one minute I am feeling super and twenty minutes later, I feel like crap. A bunch of my cousins were down and my other cousin was introducing his fiancĂ© to the family and I missed it. I guess it could be worse, but I hate missing important family things.
So I am wearing a stupid wrist brace to try and control my carpel tunnel problem in my wrist. It wasn’t so bad a couple of weeks ago, but lately I can hardly type or write stuff down. I hate wearing the brace because it limits my wrist movement and all I want to do it move my wrist!! It’s like as soon as I can’t do something, I need to do it. Oh well, 8 weeks officially before Aubry gets here so not much longer. I am still super nervous about everything, but I will have lots of help when she gets here. But everyone cross your fingers that Chris will find a job in Boise soon so we can move and maybe buy a house in the near future. It’s so weird, wanting to buy a house and settle down. I still feel a little bit immature about it all. But all I know is that I want a house so I can plant a garden. I want to grow useless vegetables that I really don’t like to eat, but are good for me. Like turnips and beets. Silly I know, but it’s just one of those weird things that I really want.
