Another week, another pair of pants I no longer fit into. I gotta tell ya, this getting more and more pregnant is messing with my self esteem. I know, I know, everyone gains a bunch of weight and looks a million times bigger. Well, the problem is, that I was trying to lose weight before I got pregnant and now it seems like I am moving backwards. Plus, I don’t have the shapely belly that marks a pregnant woman, so now I just look really overweight. Kinda depressing. It probably
doesn’t help that I haven’t been eating the most healthy. I am just so tired in the mornings, that instead of making a good breakfast, I end up stopping and getting some instant breakfast, thus making me gain more weight. *sigh* I am at 33 weeks and I just can’t wait to get this thing over with.
Me and Chris had a very unproductive weekend. We were supposed to go register for the baby shower and for some reason, we
didn’t. And we were supposed to take out the trash in the kitchen that has been accumulating from all the cleaning, but we
didn’t manager that either. I have a theory about that. It was because on Saturday, when I had a lot of energy to do things in the morning, Chris was still recovering from work and decided to take a nap. Well, that left me with really nothing to do, thus throwing off my groove. Not his fault, but I can’t stay motivated!!
Grhgghhh!! Then Sunday rolls around, and to be honest, I was super tired for some reason, and basically sat around reading and doing laundry. I
didn’t clean as much either, mainly just focusing on the piles of laundry I still have left. If there is one thing in this world that I need help with, it’s my cleaning follow through. I think that today we will probably finish things up in the house at least in the taking out the trash that is literally taking over the kitchen.
Everyone seems really anxious at work lately. Mainly because we just got the depressing news that our wages are being cut yet again. It’s really hard because we have just started paying back student loans for Chris, and then when I am not working, it will be even harder to make ends meet. But we really need to start paying back all the money that we owe for Chris. I knew what I was getting into when I agreed to student loans, but it still sucks when you have to pay them back. At least the interest rates are reasonable. Nothing like a credit card with their 33 percent interest rate. Plus, if need be, we can adjust the payment plan if we can’t quite make the payments. I am slowly losing any kind of faith that the economy will bounce back. I wish that conference
broad casted on the TV, but it
wasn’t on a channel that we got, so I don’t know what the general authorities have said about it. The text
isn’t out until Thursday, so I just have to wait. I
didn’t think about it broadcasting over the
internet, but we have been having trouble with our connection. The more I think about the economy and money situations, the more nervous I get. Beyond nervous. It does not help that I can tell things are going to get a little worse before anything starts going better. It’s just a feeling of foreboding hanging over everything.
Beyond the money and the cleaning, things are going pretty well at home. I feel better knowing that at some point we will be moving to a place that offers us more than what Vegas has. I look forward to spreading our wings and settling down somewhere with different seasons. I worry about my parents, and how they feel about us moving far away. But to be honest, Vegas is crushing us and our dreams. We can’t afford to live here, and we definitely
aren’t happy here. Well, I am usually fine until about now when the temperature starts getting above 70 degrees, then I get a little cranky. We will miss everyone that we have met down here, and we will miss family, but it’s not like we won’t ever see them again. If there is one thing I love to do, it is travel. So wish us luck in the coming months, with a new baby and hopefully a new home.
